RAS Prelims Score Kaise Calculate Karein — Formula, Examples aur Free Tool
By RPSC Tools Editorial Team · October 18, 2026 · 6 min read
Exam ke baad answer key aane par sabse pehla kaam yeh hota hai ki apna score estimate karo. Lekin bahut log negative marking mein confuse ho jaate hain — kuch zyada minus karte hain, kuch kam. Is article mein mein exact formula, examples, aur ek shortcut dunga jo aapko calculate karne mein help karega.
RAS Prelims Exam Structure
Ek important point: RAS Prelims mein marks per question uniform nahi hain. Kuch questions 1.33 marks ke hote hain aur kuch 1 mark ke. Total 200 marks mein 150 questions — this averages to 1.33 marks per question. Isliye simple calculation thodi tricky ho jaati hai.
Score Calculate Karne ka Formula
3 Real Examples
Example 1: Strong Performer
120 correct, 15 wrong, 15 skipped
Score = (120 × 1.33) − (15 × 0.44)
= 159.6 − 6.6
= 153 marks
Example 2: Average Candidate
90 correct, 25 wrong, 35 skipped
Score = (90 × 1.33) − (25 × 0.44)
= 119.7 − 11
= 108.7 marks
Example 3: Risky Guesser
100 correct, 45 wrong, 5 skipped (sab attempt kiye)
Score = (100 × 1.33) − (45 × 0.44)
= 133 − 19.8
= 113.2 marks
👆 Note: Less than Example 2 despite more correct answers!
Example 3 clearly dikhata hai ki random guessing backfire karta hai. Example 2 candidate ne 25 wrong kiye phir bhi zyada score laye kyunki ratio better tha.
Why Manual Calculation Galat Hoti Hai
Bahut log simple formula use karte hain: Correct − Wrong/3. Lekin yeh accurate nahi hai kyunki RAS mein marks per question exactly 1 nahi hain — 200 marks / 150 questions = 1.333...
Yeh ek chhota sa difference lagta hai lekin 150 questions pe accumulate hota hai aur 5-6 marks ka fark aa sakta hai — jo borderline candidates ke liye critical hai.
Isliye humare RAS Score Calculator mein exact weightage use kiya gaya hai — sirf correct aur incorrect number daalein aur exact score milega.
Answer Key Mein Dispute Ho Toh Kya Karein?
Kabhi kabhi candidates RPSC answer key ke kuch answers se disagree karte hain. Agar aapko lagta hai ki koi answer galat hai:
- RPSC ki official objection window mein objection raise karein (usually 3-5 days milte hain)
- RPSC ke website pe process clearly mentioned hoti hai
- Objection mein relevant reference book/source cite karna zaroori hai
- Final answer key aane ke baad score recalculate karein
