RAS Prelims 2024: Last 39 Days mein Kya Karein?
By RPSC Tools Editorial Team · October 18, 2026 · 10 min read
Yeh woh moment hai jab bahut log ghabra jaate hain. 41 din sunne mein bahut lagte hain lekin jab aap syllabus dekho toh lagta hai "itne mein sab kaise hoga?" — yeh feeling normal hai. Main aapko ek honest plan dunga, jo unrealistic nahi hai, lekin jo properly follow karo toh definitely fark padega.
Main ek cheez pehle clear kar deta hoon: jinhone poora saal padha hai, unka kaam last month mein revision ka hai. Jinhone kam padha hai, unka kaam "smart selection" ka hai — sab nahi, important select karke achhe se padho.
Phase 1: Week 1-2 (Day 1–14) — Weak Areas Fix Karo
Yeh sabse important phase hai. Jo topics mein aap consistently galat karte ho, unhe ab zyada time do.
History & Culture (RAS ka backbone)
- Rajasthan ka medieval history — Mewar, Marwar, Amber ke rulers
- Indian national movement — 1857 se 1947, Gandhi ji ke campaigns
- Rajasthan ki kalaen — Miniature painting, folk music, festivals
- Previous year questions se pattern dekho (2021 aur 2023)
Geography (20-25 questions expect karo)
- Rajasthan ke districts, rivers, lakes — map practice zaroori hai
- Indian geography — monsoon, soil types, agriculture zones
- World geography — continents, important countries aur rivers
- Physical features yaad karo, maps se sikhna easy hota hai
Polity & Economy (Scoring section)
- Indian Constitution — fundamental rights, DPSP, amendments
- Rajasthan polity — Panchayati raj, state legislature
- Indian economy — GDP, inflation, budget basics (2026-27 budget)
- Rajasthan economy — agriculture, industries, schemes
Phase 2: Week 3 (Day 15–21) — Current Affairs Blast
RAS Prelims mein Current Affairs ke 20–25 questions aate hain, aur yeh easily scoring section ban sakta hai kyunki yeh puri tarah recall-based hai — koi logic nahi lagana, bas yaad karna hai.
Rajasthan current affairs (last 12 months):
- Rajasthan government ki major schemes aur launches
- Awards aur honours — Rajasthan ke logon ko mile
- Sports — Rajasthan ke athletes, national/international medals
- New districts, infrastructure projects, appointments
National current affairs (last 6 months):
- Government schemes — PM programmes, flagship policies
- Important appointments — Constitutional posts, ambassadors
- Science and technology — major ISRO missions, breakthroughs
- India's international relations — summits, agreements
Tip: Ek A4 sheet banao aur rozana ek important current affair likhte jaao. Raat ko yaad karo. 21 din mein 21 important facts — yeh alone 3-4 extra marks dila sakta hai.
Phase 3: Week 4-6 (Day 22–41) — Mock Tests aur Revision
Yeh phase sabse underrated hai. Log padhai karte rehte hain lekin mock test nahi dete. Bada galati hai.
Recommended Mock Test Schedule
| Days | Activity | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Day 22–28 | Subject-wise mock (1 per day) + revision | 4-5 hours |
| Day 29–35 | Full 150-question mock every alternate day | 5-6 hours |
| Day 36–40 | Previous year papers (2021, 2023) + analysis | 4-5 hours |
| Day 41 (Exam day) | Light revision only, no new reading | 2 hours max |
Negative Marking se Kaise Bachein
RAS Prelims mein 1/3 negative marking hai — matlab 3 galat answers = 1 sahi answer cancel. Yeh ek important calculation hai jo directly aapki strategy affect karti hai.
Simple rule: Agar question mein aap 2 options eliminate kar sako, guess karo. Agar nahi kar sako, chhod do.
Apni attempt aur score strategy check karne ke liye hamare RPSC Negative Marking Calculator use karein — yeh aapko batayega ki agar aapne X correct aur Y incorrect kiye, toh final score kya hoga.
Last Week mein Kya Nahi Karna Chahiye
Yeh equally important hai:
- Naya topic mat shuru karo — exam se 1 week pehle koi new chapter mat uthao
- Late night mat padho — sleep deprivation se memory recall affect hoti hai
- Social media detox karo — news aur "exam analysis" videos ki rabbit hole mein mat jao
- Exam center pehle dekh lo — exam se ek din pehle location confirm karo, route jano
